It was great, wasn’t too loud but they’re still working out the kinks on the venue

Crowd was huge. Feedbacker to end a set was cool (encore was great less droney stuff, played some old shit, got to mosh)

I got Feedbacker on vinyl and Love and Evol (I’m still confused, this doesn’t come out til Oct?)

I love Wata even more in person

I haven’t gotten to listen to Love and Evol yet but I’m excited to try

Love/Evol got pushed back to october for some reason. but you can get it at the shows, as you know.

early pressings of it are, like the versions of Akuma & Feedbacker they were selling, tour exclusives

i got a vinyl of Akuma as well as some stickers & a copy of New Album (which was cheap & i'd never heard it before + was just in the mood to "load up" so to speak.) don't know what shirt Took was talking about because they were all kind of ugly to me, lol.

show was great & i agree it was surprisingly not-all-that-loud. i had earplugs but my gf apparently took hers out after the second song & said it was fine. wasn't expecting the Pink encore, did you guys get that too?

i'm happi to hear that it wasn't too loud for you guys. having my ears blasted by takeshi's amps was one of the main reasons why i decided not to go. i guess i was wrong. :(

Yup. Denton shows are usually chill. Our set was really drone too. Plus it was an outdoor show. It was also sold out but there was a ton of space which was strange

oh yeah, that might have been there but at a glance i thought it was just the Dear cover, lol

White Oak as a venue was okay but they didn't let us bring our merch to the car on account of a "no re-entry" policy which is fucking ludicrous considering we both bought vinyl and were NOT just gonna hold on to that shit during an entire concert of loud music/moshing/whatever the hell else so my gf literally snuck out through the back and came back in

i was slightly paranoid someone was gonna come up to us and say "we know what you did & you have to go" or something but fortunately we got away with it. seriously though this was dumb as shit and the only conceivable workaround short of just not buying anything would have been to either

a) wait until the end of the show to buy merch, which thank fuck i didn't do because the Akuma vinyls sold out i think before the band even went on or

b) just stand at the back of the venue the entire night so our shit wouldn't get smashed

wow that's incredibly lame. how are you supposed to get high between sets?

Well there was a (enclosed) smoking area, in fact that’s the very area we used to sneak out said merch!
