Any talk of upcoming tour dates?
What's up with the full absence of ANY upcoming shows? Seems to me that every other active band is cl******g to book venues and dates in the kinda-post-covid world that we are living in now. Lots of bands have gobs booked throughout 2022.
But nothing at all on the SP page. Has anybody heard talk from him somewhere about tour dates that I've missed? Or do we think they're just waiting to tour on this new double album so we can hear full three hour shows of it plus an encore of the greatest hits from SAOSBV1:LPNPNFNS and SAOSBV2:CYR? |
Haven't heard anything. Most likely stuff is in the works to coincide with the sequel album. My guess is Billy will want to push for another arena tour as a celebration of MCIS.

We are so not post-Covid. But I'll stop there.

We are absolutely not post-COVID.
If you're vaccinated and boosted then as an individual you have helped to suppress the spread of the virus and drastically reduce your chances of becoming seriously ill for a limited time. You can still transmit it, lots of people are not vaccinated, in developing countries especially. COVID is still mutating and will continue to circulate like flu. The impact on global infrastructure is ongoing. But anyway... |

IMO we are not post-COVID, but we are definitely in a different phase of it where it is starting to become endemic instead of a pandemic. Six-month boosters going to be popular for a while is my guess, and as an immunocompromised person, I'm still going to wear masks in public. But I have no problem doing indoor activities maskless with people I know, which was definitely not the case last year at this time. |
I remember Billy mentioning small concerts to play album-themed concerts.

Highest transmission levels ever in my neck of the woods, too. I love that people are just sick of the pandemic being a thing and have decided that means it's over. I, personally, am vaccinated, so I now believe it does not affect me as an individual; therefore the planet is post-COVID and everyone should start acting normal. This "I only care if it directly affects me" thinking is definitely smart and cool and has in no way led straight to the hellworld we've been living in for years.
Slightly above the level of daily deaths we had for most of last year, before the vaccine? Party time, baby! |
Hey guys, remember covid? What a hot, sexy time for us!
|
IMHO 2022 is saturated with bands that had to put off cancelled tours. it's just TOO MUCH. there's bands that I'd love to go see but won't - simply because there's TOO much going on.
maybe SP knows about this and is going to wait for a better moment? |

I wonder if the Scarity Principle extends to 25 minute Instagram bathrobe sessions

Not sure that he has stated it outright, which generally means they are of the "I don't think we should have to share that sort of thing" camp which means every damn time they are of the "no way i'm putting that in me" camp. |
