Really bummed about this news. Died from COVID-19 at age 52.

Ivy and Fountains of Wayne are two very different bands where he showed incredible range as a songwriter and musician. And of course his connection to SP through Scratchie and Tinted Windows makes this even stranger for me.

I dread what’s going to happen in NYC with who all might contract this that I care about.

I read that he was in the hospital earlier, but didn't realize it was that bad. This shit really sucks.

A few friends and I were going to a FoW concert, decades ago, and decided to get a quick dinner beforehand. And guess who was coming out of the restaurant as we went in? Guess. It was the whole band. We smiled, they smiled. It was a deeply felt moment.

Anyway this blows. I had no idea he was heavily involved in the show "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend." It's on Netflix, at least in the States, and I'd already heard a lot of good things about it. Check it out if you dare
