I mean, I've never seen these. They really make me sad. |
This makes me happy, though. |

|

Thread gives me a wistful feeling in my parts
It’s like time keeps on slipping, or whatever, into the future Or wherever |
I used to talk with a friend about how D'Arcy is kind of a shapeshifter. There are some photos where you don't even think it's the same person, and these are that. Not just because she's like 20 years younger than she was when she was with the band, but man - just so many wild, wild variances in her appearance.

Nobody puts D'arcy in a corner.

Excuse meee!?

To me she always came across as kind of spacey. I remember lots of girls from my college days who were like that, especially the ones who were into alternative music! |

I'm not American, so I don't know the story, but why are yearbook photos never to camera? Is it supposed to represent "looking to the future" or some crap like that?
|
There's no default angle on a yearbook photos. I have all twelve years of mine and it varies from year to year and school to school. I much prefer the side shot though. Not many people, even normally good looking folks, look all that natural straight on.
D'arcy does has a surprising amount of looks. Without being crass about her eventual fast decline, she did seem to age in reveres for about twenty years. I mean she looks younger in 1998 than she did in 1985, at least to my eyes. |
i wonder if our posts will look as inane as that 'memories' section does
