MCATIS 3LP Question

Hi! i had a quick question relating to the MCATIS vinyl... after lookign around on EIL, ebay and so on I know the first (pre 98) version is available... however i have been told about a coloured vinyl version.... is this real? SPFC does not mention it, and id rather know before going straight out and buying the already expensive 3 LP version (black)...

My Cat and Tom's Irish Snake, a great record of the 1940s, was available on a plethora of colored vinyl.

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (MCIS) was not.

I would also appreciate it if we could stick to one abbreviation for Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. I suggest MCIS, since that's what everyone uses and is used to.

Please stop inventing your own abbreviations. It's very confusing. On top of that, most songs don't need it. Just type their title.

about the mcis 3lp: there's no such thing as a colored vinyl version, but the labels on each vinyl have different colors. maybe that's where the confusion came from?

nope, it isn't.
because the rule in abbreviations is : do not abbreviate words such as "and, of, ..."

so it's MCIS.

i didn't realise there where laws to these things. thanks for the update...

and normally its at the discretion of the abreviator to do so.

Says me with the degree in English lit

and even this list is too long. half of those are ridiculous and should be cut off.
