you can only do it if you have over 5000 posts or you've donated.

if you donate and have less that 5000 posts you have to PM an admin and they'll change it for you, if you have over 5000 posts there's a box to do it in the user cp like the sig one.

if you want a custom title then just donate. you only have to fork out $5 or $10 to get a custom title i think.
