Default 2-day Pass - OR buy individually during presale?

The Two-Day passes for NYC are not subject to the AMEX Pre-Sale which begins Saturday morning. However, tickets for each individual show are available early.

First, are we really only paying 53-93 dollars for TWO shows? That'd be great. OR, are we paying double (106-186).

Second, which method will get me the better seat?

I'm probably waiting to purchase the two-show ticket, since it appears it is/was aimed at fans like me (and you).

I have been asking myself this for a couple days now. Also, is it worth the risk that the presale this weekend has good seats, and that the 2 day passes will be all bad seats?

i hate to give you more uncertainty, but for dallas '07 there were NO pit tickets in the presale (ie all the great ones were actually in public onsale - there were some good ones in the presale but not tons)

i've kinda lost hope with presales

I think NYC is all seats, so no pit to be worried about. I had the same issue with the Detroit and Boston shows last year.....the only tickets I got in the presale were just average ones.

I would also like to point out that usually with American Express Gold Card Events they reserve the best seats (most expensive) for card holders. So, my guess is your getting the best seats available during this presale. However, that doesnt mean they arent reserving some of the best seats for the public onsale as well. Damn this is a tough decision, What to do?

I still can't believe that a NYC 2 day pass is $93. I think the price listed is an error. The price for each individual show goes up to $89.

I ended up buying my Boston tickets during the presale, but I'm still going to see what's available at the general sale next week. If I find better tickets I'm going to sell the ones I got, they're pretty good seats but I was hoping to be in the first 5 rows if possible.
