just got 2 tickets through the Amex presale...this is all general admission standing room only right? i had no other option, ticketmaster offered no seating chart either. but if you go here http://www.livenation.com/event/getE...ventId/337868/ it shows seating on the sides. so is the floor first come first serve and then the rest seating?
so confusing. |

I got two tickets via the Nokia pass presale thing Friday morning at 10am.
And yes, only General Admission was available. My tickets are "GA2," but it's completely meaningless. The numbers are just there to sort out tickets, and don't guarantee an actual spot. Last edited by Reyngel : 09-27-2008 at 03:16 AM. |

Its a basketball arena. Its all GA, but the floor isn't very big, so the bleachers serve the rest of the audience. Its quite small, so its best seats are probably low seats, straight back from the stage; unless you have to be on the floor.
When I saw Zwan there I was front row, so I can't say too much about the acoustics, but its a Div II college b-ball court, how good can they be unless you're directly in front of the speakers, right? Its small enough to be intimate, but large enough to feel like a big rock show. |

Purchased VIP as well - 5star.
Several photos of the RIMAC arena: ![]() ![]() Looks like seating on the sides, with a lot of standing room in front of the stage: http://flickr.com/photos/22445004@N00/50430660/ |

Man this show has the potential to be pretty kick ass.
He was pretty happy with the University of San Diego crowd last year, to the point where he even acknowledged it. Seeing as how it's going to be on campus again, I'm sure it's going to be great. Also, maybe it's just me, but having the show be in a baskeball gym actually sounds awesome, haha. It'll feel like the Pumpkins are playing at my old high school or something. I can't wait. |

I have two tickets to this show.. GA numbers 49 and 50. They are for sale because after i bought these, i went ahead with the VIP package.
Selling for face value of $99 for the pair. (cheeper than you can get them for due to $22.60 worth of fees that i paid) I can deliver local in San Diego area or send them in the mail. PM if interested |

this thread is dead. is no one going to this show for some reason?
i was wondering what time people think they are getting there, and also if the seats were also GA and once the floor filled up if you had to just take a place in the bleachers? |

I'm going to this show tonight and to the two in LA. I saw ZWAN at this venue in 2003 and my ex-girlfriend went to school at UCSD so I'm pretty familiar with the area. Parking has never been an issue but it can be a bit of a hike depending on what lot you end up in. La Jolla is a nice area but it can be difficult to navigate with all the hills and winding roads - especially in the village. I'm leaving from Orange County in about half an hour, going to try to eat at Rock Bottom Brewery or something across La Jolla Village Dr from the campus. Then I'll hit the venue just before start time.
A note about the ZWAN show: The venue security/organizers had everyone on the floor sit until the lights went out. It was bullshit. I don't recall the reasoning behind it but if felt like elementary school. When everyone stood there was more room to move about which resulted in a surge for the stage. Anyway, the floor area is smaller than the Filmore, and the bleachers are all general admission as well. In the end, there's not a bad seat in the house.
