re: the chicago show, does anyone have an inkling what the likely venue would be, what the capacity is, how hard it'll be to get tickets? seems as good a reason to visit chicago as any.

my money is on multiple nights at the Aragon the weekend of the 12th or 19th. Holds 4500.

Billy said they would be large shows. 4500 doesn't really qualify as a "large" show. It'd pretty much be like the residency's if it were multiple nights. They'd end up with 80% of the same people there each night. I'm thinking more along the lines of one night @ the United Center. Plus, I think Billy said there would only be 3 shows (LA, NY, and Chicago) and each city would be a different era (which also points to just one show in each city). He also said it would be well publicized which era they will be performing that night, so you'll know what you're going to see before you even buy the tickets. If you haven't watched the interview Monte did, you should.

you didn't watch my interview, my 1st question was about the era shows, and he said NEXT YEAR-

A fall tour this summer. more unique for the other shows this year for those 3 cities. (or at least that how i heard it)

The Residency in SF was far from the same 80% of the same people every night. I think 4 or 3 people made it to every show.

When did I say the NY, LA and Chicago shows would happen "THIS YEAR". I wasn't at any of the residency shows, but it was my understanding that mostly the same people were attending most of them (like yourself). But you were there and I wasn't, so apparently I'm wrong. Either way, Billy told you they would be large shows and NOT residency's, correct?? I think that's what I said.
