Default help me get caught up...

I haven't been to Netphoria very often in the past year - priorities in life have shifted...

I am surprised at how much I enjoy the music on the new DVD. Much of it I heard as the bootlegs were coming out from the residencies last summer, but their presentation on the DVD made me interested in them and the band once again. So, even though I definitely lost some interest in the band with Zeitgeist, I am very curious about what they've been up to in the time since the residencies. I know they've had several small U.S./Euro tours - can anyone suggest a show or two to hunt down from this past year? (or even provide a link?) I'd be interested in anything with decent quality and new (post-residencies) songs.

It would also be helpful if someone could provide a list of everything new (including any covers or newly played old songs) done since July 07. I know about American Gothic, Zeitgeist singles/B-sides, G.L.O.W., and SuperChrist - but what am I missing (live or studio)? I realize that creating such a list might be a pain, but it would certainly be appreciated.

the two shows in new york should get you caught up.
Internet Archive: Details: Smashing Pumpkins Live at United Palace on 2008-11-06
Internet Archive: Details: Smashing Pumpkins Live at United Palace on 2008-11-07

NEW songs are As Rome Burns, Owata, A Song for a Son & The March Hare
NEW covers that are jammed out are Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun [Pink Floyd], Everything Is Beautiful [Ray Stevens] & The Sounds of Silence [Simon]

there was the Halloween show last week (spfc.org : tour history - dates : 2008/10/31 ) where they played a bunch of covers, but that's just Halloween goofing off... not part of their regular set.

there might be more.. feel free to add.

A Song for a Son and The March Hare are awesome. The Pumpkins are releasing SBD's of all the anniversary tour which is super awesome.
