Default Bottom 5 Worst SP2 songs

5. Bleeding the Orchid
4. Owata
3. Neverlost
2. For God and Country
1. SuperChrist

Dishonourable mention: Song for a Son. This song plus Owata are basically SP setting emotion to Autopilot.

1. United States (BORING AS HELL, HORRIBLE STUDIO VERSON)
2. For God and Country
3. Starz
4. Doomsday Clock (I still listen to it at the gym, but it is such a "product" song, like it came from a download code that I got off the back of a Pepsi can)

I can't think of a 5th. I actually really love the new material. It's just the PRODUCTION of Z that really messed it up.

there's a whole bunch of the residencies stuff I find rather boring, but I can't really remember the individual songs.

1. neverlost
2. that's the way
3. united states
4. sunkissed (american gothic version)
5. c'mon let's go

Isn't it? You don't really realize that MOST of the new songs are either good or awesome... it IS pretty easy to focus on the annoyance of songs like God and Country.

Surprised at That's The Way... what don't you like about it? I love the vocal line in the chorus, love the bouncy drumming, the spacy poppy guitar, and I think it's one of the better-produced Zeitgeist tracks. It's one of my top 3 favorites on Z, easy.

I can find something redeeming about most SP songs except Tarantula and GLOW. Dross is also down there for me, meh.

They are boring, true, but at least they aren't really BAD.

I suppose that's the outcome of songs that were written in a day, most of which were either solo/acoustic or basically really stripped down.

o man this list is far easier... i guess i feel more "offended" by studio renditions though since they are more commited, so there will be no super new songs on this list. For a song to be on an official release and suck is far worse than a new track that is getting test driven

1. Come on lets go (so bad)
2. Neverlost
3. Pox
4. GLOW
5. for god and country

Nothing even comes close to the level of bad that Come on let's Go reaches.

1. Come On (Let's Go!)
2. Doomsday Clock
3. For God and Country (as said by others, acoustic version is much better)
4. Death From Above
5. Pox

I am more like the silent observer usually. I have been on this board for several years, thought I would give something back to my number one source of SP material, news and gossip. And of course, it rids me of all advertisements on the site. It is pretty cool, you should try it.

I know about this. I still wanted to contribute to the community. And Pakula lured me in with a great christmas offer last year. I recommend it for everyone.

It's the worst five songs by SP2, which would make them at the bottom of a list of SP2 songs from best to worst.

5. residency songs(dull, dull, DULL)
4. rest of zeitgeist(except for starz)
3. american gothic
2 and 1. glow and neverlost can be used here interchangeably.

maybe american gothic should be number one, it still blows my mind that something like that was released under the name "Smashing Pumpkins", but what the fuck do i know, it takes time to make good music, cant just shit out siamese dream, i must be patient and sit through shit music first, right?

1) DEATH FROM ABOVE
2) pomp and circumstances
3) pox
4) the rest of zeigeist goes here
5) again again again
