It's the first contact I've had with the guy since the press he did for TFE (unless you count almost walking into him at a Sinead O'Connor show in Sydney this year, and subsequently getting a really dirty look from him). To be honest, I'm not particularly excited to find out all about the DVD (yay!!!!!)... so I thought I'd ask you guys for some question suggestions. Serious or stupid, I don't care.

Why doesn't he play other songs he has written. If he and Jimbo were 95% of Sp, then i'm sure the same can be said for Zwan. Why won't he play those.

Follow up question to the lawsuit. He said that a "Gish boxset" was being planned but due to the lawsuit, probably would not see the light of day now. Why? Does he not want James/Darcy to get money? What other projects will this affect?

on zeitgeist, more songs are credited to terry date as producer than to roy thomas baker. but in almost every interview, they can't stop mentioning how great roy thomas baker is, and terry date is completely ignored. was working with terry date not a good experience? any regrets?

during his man-date with uli jon roth in hamburg, they discuss the way music sounds today. how everyone is used to digital sounding music, et cetera. uli mentions how zeitgeist was recorded completely analog. and then the scene ends...

can you ask billy why they recorded the entire album on tape, only to ruin the result afterwards, during mastering (or whatever). was it just for fun? 'cause it seems quite a useless effort.

i just found it quite remarkable how they completely ignored terry date in interviews, and how "working with roy thomas baker" was one of the standard subjects. even though terry date has worked on more album tracks than roy thomas baker.

I assumed it was because RTB has more of a reputation than TD. I mean, in my eyes TD has produced some amazing records, but y'know, he never worked with The Cars...
