I dont know if this is known by all yet, but hipsters united is reporting that the pumpkins will play the spike scream awards on Oct 18, and that it will air four days later.

Maybe they'll open up the show like the classy bit they did on the Scream awards last year and have somebody torn apart by a Saw-like aparatus and splatter the audience in blood. Hell, maybe it'll be Jeff.

G.L.O.W. doesn't seem like a very scary song to play, though. Bust out Pug!!!

I'm just hoping the show'll have some good clips from Terminator: Salvation or maybe Star Trek (the only big-budget sci-fi movies next summer).

I'm am 2000% positive I'll get flamed for this but I don't give a fuck so I'll ask anyway. I keep hearing rumors that Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance is going to be performing with the Pumpkins @ this event. Or if not at this event at another Pumpkins show relatively close. I guess because Gerard will be at the Scream Awards as well is why the rumor was started. Anybody around here heard this rumor as well?

Honestly, I've heard it from people on an MCR messageboard. They claim to have heard it on their radio stations (Detroit to be more specific). I seriously doubt if the Pumpkins are playing their new song on the Scream Awards that Gerard will be joining them. I've been a lurking Netphoria for years (a lot longer than my sign-up date) and know you all have the info first so that is why I was asking.

Oh, and the rumors were around before the Pumpkins were officially confirmed to play the Scream Awards.

I don't think you can really trust rumors like that that come from the bands messageboard.

If well all did that then Rivers Cuomo would have played with Guns n Roses when they played the MTV awards a few years back.
