Mean people and cell phones dont mix.

I was at work today (i work in a supermarket deli) and my co-worker Tiffany and I were talking, and a customer walks up to the case talking on his cell phone. I start grinding my teeth at the sight because i think that one should keep their cell phone conversations brief if they are in the grocery store, but she goes up to the case and says very nicely "hi, is there something i can get for you?" He replies very rudely "ill be a minute". So she walks away and just as she gets to the other side of the deli he yells at her "I WANT A HUNDRED GRAMS OF BLACK FOREST HAM"... all of this going on while he is still on his goddamn phone! Seriously, tell the person on the other end that you will call them back as soon as you can. I've seen people do this to cashiers and other people working in the store too. I wish people would just realize that it is rude to talk on your phone while dealing with other people. Would you go through the McDonalds drive thru and say "just a minute, I have a phone call"? Probably not.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you own a cell phone, realize that some people may feel you are being rude if you use it in certain situations.

The second time I saw TTT, this guy's cell phone kept going off, loudly playing some obnoxious tune. It did this five or six times. And he never once answered it! You'd think the fucker could at least turn the damn thing off.

yeah when i worked at cvs people got checked out with cell phones all the time. they were usually friendly though it was just hard for me to ask them things such as "do you have a cvs card??????" you know. one time this guy had a HEAD SET PHONE AHHH. it totally threw me off. i thought he was talking to me at first cuz i didn't see the fucking head set. he was just standing there llooking into space talking. i kept looking at him going "wha?" and he'd smile and shake his head. it was sooo weird

it stands for convenience, value, and service.

it's a 24 hour drug store/pharmacy. it used to have another name. something like "people's drug store" or something. well actually the one i worked at was 24 hours. i loved htat cuz people would call going "when do you close?" and i'd go "uhhh...never" it was so cool. but apparently the one downtown closes sometimes. how disappointing. it has so much stuff though. like everything you could possibly ever want. it even sells ben and jerries. god that store is amazing. i love things like that but like i worked there 40 hours a week so over the summer i was so turned off of stuff. like the love of my life is grocery shopping but when i was working at cvs, if i went to kroger's i started to dry heave whenever i looked at like the diapers or something. you get so sick of diapers.

if you go to cvs, DEFINITELY get an extra care card. make sure when you fill a sheet out that you check "yes" when they say "can we send you mailings?" that just means they'll send you COUPONS (other stuff too i guess). NEVER buy anything from cvs that is not on sale. they will rip you off. sometimes they'd have a sale where a 16 - pack of soda would be 3 99. the next week the same 16-pack would be "on sale" for 5 99. i did NOT approve

i hated when i had to work 'till like 9 or 10 cuz the normal managers would go home and this retarded man would be there. i hated him. he was so stupid. like i swear he was mentally retarded i could have strangled him. every time someone returns something that's more than 10 bucks you need to call a manager right? one time someone comes to return something, you know, i gotta call the manager. so he comes up and i go "she wants to return this and it's more than 10 dollars" and he stands there staring at the cash register for 30 seconds and he goes "...she don't want it?" and i was all "yes and it's more than 10 dollars so if you could scan your card. . ." UGH i could not STAND HIM :[

one time we had this horrible storm and i'd left my car windows out and i had to run out in the pouring (and i mean flash flood) rain to close my windows. i was soaking wet ugh. and i had to stay there for another 30 minutes or so. and then the power blinked and our cash registers got fukced up and took like 20 minutes to boot back up. this girl who was in the middle of a transaction was just buying cigarettes or some shit had to stand there waiting for the transacton to finish the whole time i'm standing there. oh actually i think that happened BEFORE i went to my car hmm. yeah it did. heh.

fake managers are stupid everywhere. they have to be stupid to work the shitty shifts. its like theres this one guy where i work.. hes really nice but kind of a loser.. he workds there like all night shifts and all the time.. he never goes home.. anyways he comes up and leans against the hotcase to warm up... hes like 'sure is warm here!!!' and then leaves.. then comes back and complains that the front glass is dirty with fingerprints. so its basically like a card that you need to get the discount but you dont really need it but if you dont use it then you wont get the rewards connected to YOUR card.
