Question anyone been to a weezer show on their current tour?

I'm going in July, but I don't really know if I want to. I expect the setlists to be chock full of Make Believe stuff, but does anyone know what they've been playing? Any Pinkerton or Blue? Pleeease say yes, cause that will be one crappy show if not. they're playing with Spoon, which is good.

I'm too lazy to go copy them for you, but if you go to weezer.com, they post every setlist the day after the show in the news section.

As I recall, it's 60% blue/pinkerton, 30% make believe, and 10% green/maladroit.

I'd LOVE to see Weezer, btu nothing really like that every comes here so I doubt I could get to see them.
That show sounds awesome. You should make a post about it once you get back from it

Saw the third show on the first Make Believe tour...like a week and a half before the album came out and less than a week after it leaked mainstream.

If I recall (and as suggested, check weezer.com for the setlists), half of each Blue and Pinkerton were played. One Maladroit song, two Green and about five new ones.

Good show all around. Some of the biggest cheers went to 'Hash Pipe' and 'Buddy Holly,' which is moderately unexpected from a core =w= crowd (it was at the 1100-ish Warfield). I've read Rivers is rocking out a bit more than earlier this spring, so that should be a plus, too.

that's cool that they're playing pinkerton though, i thought rivers had decided to pretend it didn't exist

when I saw them in 2002 (right on the Maladroit tour) they played a shitload of Pinkerton. (El Scorcho, Pink Triangle, Across the Sea, The Good Life, Falling For You) It was only the Green tour when they stopped playing it.

I was at the famous show where they played Pinkerton from start to finish.

It all went dramatically downhill after that.

They played 6 off Pinkerton when I saw them on that tour as well, but they picked horribly. No El Scorcho, Pink Triangle or Across The Sea. (those are my favorites off that album)

We got a weird electric version of Butterfly though.
