Please bear with me, this is the first time I try to seed a torrent and really would love to make this work properly.
I think it works ok now. So this is where to find it. Hope it works. Cheers! http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=45710 |

just in case anyone is wondering:
the drum hick-ups in Sorrows (In Blue) are no defect on the recording. Matt's drumsequencer was starting a life all of its own there. which caused some amused smiles from Billy. in between songs the machine was very quickly replaced with a new one. also: during the 'technical difficulties' part Billy's controllers stopped working. it took the roadies around 5 minutes to find a new one and install it, plus match the patches to the settings needed. frustration seemed to get the best of Billy for a brief moment when he smashed both his controllers/footswitches on the stage; one of the bangs can be heard on the recording, followed by crowdcheers... go figure. just some random notes on the show... cheers! |

Thank you very much for sharing that show but next time you transfer a show use CDWAve to split the tracks because otherwise it's not cut on correct sector boundaries (see capture.jpg file attached) which results in clicks or pops between tracks (not audible sometimes):
There is a detailed explanation on etree.org : "5. What software should I use to create tracks in my wav files? Tracks can be created by using a wav editor. When creating tracks, one must make sure that the tracks are cut on correct sector boundries (multiples of 588 samples). CDWav cuts on correct sector boundries by default and therefore is the preferred program to use for tracking shows. CDWav is also the easiest application available for tracking shows. Cool Edit and Sound Forge DO NOT cut on correct sector boundries by default. 6. What are sector boundries? and why should I care about them? In order to create a live DAO recording without any clicks or gaps between songs, you must make sure the audio in your wav file is a multiple of 2352 bytes (588 samples) long. Most audio editing programs will allow you to choose a block size for editing to ensure that when you split a large wav file into smaller wav files each small wav file will contain an integer number of blocks. If you choose your block size to be 2352, no padding will be done by your cd burning software, and the end of one track will flow seamlessly into the beginning of the next track without any silence or clicks (The correct way). Note: A wav file contains a short header followed by the audio data. I have found that the length of the header is (almost always) 44 bytes. So, if you want to do a quick check of whether a wav file will be burned DAO without any padding, subtract 44 from the size of the wav file and divide by 2352. This number, which represents the number of blocks, should be an integer (contain a fraction of 0.0000, i.e, 745673.0000 blocks). CDWav cuts on correct sector boundries by default, therefore is the preferred method for tracking a show." |

Wow, good recording. This is phenomenal! The shows sound much better than I imagined they would.
Sticking pretty close to the album, but damn does he do a good job of that. I guess the prerecorded computer stuff helps for that. Great solo in To Love Somebody, and I am absolutely loving the new songs. Johanna sounds old school ... new album haters should check it out. I have them all converted to VBR MP3s if someone has a way for me to get them out. |

edit to the textfile:
just found out: Johanna is NOT a BC original but a cover from an original by Iggy Pop & The Stooges so the textfile should read: Johanna [Iggy Pop & The Stooges] also I have credited I'm A King Bee to James Moore which is correct, but the following part of the fact Muddy Waters made the song famous may in fact be a little dubious. James Moore aka Slim Sharpo would be the correct credit for this song. cheers! |

Thanks a lot for this great recording.
And thanks for the SBE warning. (The problem was easily fixed with shntool.) |

For those of you concerned with the sector boundary issue I have made a cue sheet that will split the show correctly, with all the track splits in the same place as the original release. You'd have to join up all the tracks first, obviously. I would have made a cue for each disc but I didn't want to make the decision for people on where to split the show in half. Hope this doesn't piss off Endless Whining.
Name your merged wav file as bc20050609.wav (or edit the cue to change the filename). Hope this is helpful to some people, I made it for myself and thought maybe it would save some trouble for others. cue sheet |

"shntool fix *.flac" looks a bit easier to me than "shntool join *.flac" + working with the cue sheet.
But of course it's always nice when people can choose. |

I don't know that program. Oh well, it won't hurt to have the cue available.
