One thing I've heard is that Billy said that he's gone back to playing more of an effects-based guitar playing that he played when he was younger (ie. before SP).

When I first hear it it did sound like a pre-gish song with more production and Billy's new vocal stylings, but that feeling only lasted about 30 seconds
