iud is great because...

-the one i have lasts 5 years.
-most effective form of bc out there, (outside of the US it's the most widely used as well), and safest if you have only one partner and stuff (PID is a danger if you have more than one partner)

ALSO, Doc and I decided I should go ahead and try Pills, and if they don't work out, we'll try something else.

Anyone ever been on Ovcon 35? How'd you like it?

It's apparently a low-dose, so I shouldn't go crazy or anything. Thankfully, he also gave me three months worth of sample packs, so I won't actually have to go fill the prescription for a while (woohoo, saving money until I have it!)

The tantrum part? It had nothing to do with the IUD, it had to do with them jerking me around with my transfer/Depo. I got sick of it. Besides, it wasn't that much of a tantrum, just "well, whatever. Just throw all this (medical records, medical history, patient info, etc) away. Forget it" and then left.

that's another doctor's disgression thing, they are more likely to fit if you have had a child. they are more likely to be rejected if not
