i downloaded this Melt-Banana/Narcosis split that is pretty cool.

i heard this new album by The Octopus Project that sounds good.

the new M83 album came in this week, and i realized why it pisses me off... they want to be Air so fucking bad. or the one dude does, whatever. just be M83 asshead.

i have this album by this guy Rusty Santos, he did mixing on Sung Tongs, his album is more straight up freak-folk though. pretty much Comus, i guess. mixed by Dave Portner though (Avey Tare).

what else have i reviewed lately... Hot Troche is awesome. capn jazz would like it, i forgot that kids real name cause he never posts any more.

That new Caribou isn't too impressive. Maybe it'll grow on me maybe it won't.

I saw The Octopus Project a few years ago at SXSW. They were all really cute but they sucked live. I still want to find one song that's on the first album that I loved loved loved. Their songs definitely had potential. So they've gotten better then?

i've seen the octopus project several times live, and it's always been great. the girl in the band is pretty damn hot too. I'll have to try to find their album somewhere in mp3 land.

I haven't checked out anything new in a while... except that Apostle of Hustle album... which sounds kinda cool... i need to give it a few more listens.

any suggestions? maybe put a description of the style beside the suggestion... thanks
