Only in the last few years have I truly come to appreciate waffles.

I never liked them but like a year and a half ago I found myself randomly craving waffles. Ever since then, waffles have been it.

IHOP has these "country griddle cakes" and I fuckin love `em. They have some cream of wheat in the batter- it sounds like it'd be absolutely disgusting, but they're great great great. I've been spoiled to them- I rarely get regular pancakes anymore.

Also, potato pancakes are good. My grandmother used to use left over mashed potatoes and turn it into potato pancake batter.. Damn those were good. I just wish I remembered how to do it.
