Being Christian is cool, but hanging out with ignorant douches is not. Being Christian does not mean cutting yourself off from the rest of the world.

Seriously.

I have a friend whose pastor told him that D&D was inspired by Satan, and that he was not allowed to play it anymore, because of this one guy:

http://www.chick.com/articles/dnd.asp

There was an AWESOME little comic strip to go with that, but I couldn't find it... basically, the guy thinks that D&D inspires people to do witchcraft and worship Satan.

The kicker is, he has no problem with any other role playing game. Only D&D. Just because this guy wrote this article on it. Even though D&D is one of the more tame role playing games these days.

My point: Pastors can be complete and total mental fucktards.

Andrew and the board would not be in any danger whatsoever. If someone posts porn on that other board, the person posting it would be the only one in danger.

2 Corinthians 6:14-17

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

and don't forget 2 John 1:7-11

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

The board could be closed because of baden trying to fucking sell acid and shit over the internet. Not because of your little messageboard.

Besides...I heard you've done your own part of making illegal photographs, too.

So shut up, cunt. Please go back to wherever you came from. Kthx.

Chick comic books are produced by some sick sect, keep that in mind.

I've stumbled across one that was geared at converting natives to christianity, and it was fucking sick.... I should post some scans of it.

idunno, do you keep slaves? are women property? do you eat shellfish? are tattooos desecration? do you kill homosexuals, witches, and heretics?

who was more off, the bible, or marx?

that's not even getting into the contradictions. at least marx offered a unified front of ideals.

You are correct in saying this, yes... but I also think that learning about differenct people, including people that are considered "evil", is a must. Because I think ignorance is an evil in itself. I'm not saying that's the reason I hang around Netphoria... just throwing out something.

Another thing to think about, when reading those passages... what about people who aren't Christian but who are good people? A majority of my friends fall into that category. I have friends who are Buddhist, Muslim, and Pagan. Does that mean I shouldn't hang out with them, or consider them friends?

There are parts of the Bible I wrestle with quite often, and this is one of them. Because if I'm not supposed to associate with people the Bible considers heathens... well, I wouldn't be hanging out with many people.

Also, I think if you're strong enough in your faith, hanging out with unchristian people isn't going to change your mind.

Unfortunately, the Bible has been interpretted throughout the years by humans, and humans are fallible. Which is why, although I do believe Jesus Christ died for my sins and I'm saved through him and all that, I think the rest of the Bible should be taken with a grain of salt.

And is also the reason I stopped going to Baptist churches.

contextualism is bullshit. it's reinterpreting the bible to fit your needs. so are you saying that slavery was ok, but now it is not? why? did god change his mind? if so, why? god knows all, correct? then why would god ever have to change his mind?

the bible is either right or it is not. if it is not, then none of it can be trusted.

believing and Jesus but not the rest is lazy and it just has to do with feeling like you're going to have an afterlife
