These two men who had so admired and so wanted to be a part of Manhatten night life opened Studio 54 in 1977. You had wildly different personalities, but together you had the capacity to, for a year and a half, operate the hottest night club around. Quickly gaining fame and fortune, you stayed in the game long enough to make lots of money and do lots of drugs, but all of this came a price. After a short while the scene was starting to die, and the IRS intervened and shut you down. But you had one hell of a time while it lasted.

From your premiere flight in 1903 to your introduction as a means of effectively waging war in 1914, you were a carefree and limitless time. It seemed that any record could be broken, the sky was truly the limit and it really seemed that anything was possible.
