Default MCIS Demos 2 upgrade and other stuff

Hey guys, first a brief welcome and introduction. I was a Netphorian way back in the Pumpkins' twilight days (around 99 - 2001), so it's cool to see this place is still around. I went by eXwhYyoU back then (someone else took it, d'oh )

Anyways, after the Pumpkins broke up, I sorta stopped paying much attention to collecting live shows and demos, but recently I've been rediscovering how wonderful some of these demos and concerts were.

I dunno if SPFC is still the SP Bible when it comes to information (doesn't look like it's been updated in ages). I'm a little curious if any new demos and stuff has come out since the full Mashed Potatoes. It might be nice to get caught up if possible.

Also, more specifically, I was going through my SHNs and I found the "MCIS Demos 2 Upgrade" that I think was done by Starseed. For some reason, I only have about half of the songs, I'm not sure what I did with the rest. Is there still a DC hub or some other source where it's relatively easy to get stuff?

Thanks in advance.

Ballz-
I sent you a private message containing some info about a few items that have popped up, as well as an offer to help you collect some of the cool stuff you may have missed out on. Did you get the message? Let me know if you want to view my list...

Actually... no. I didn't. Strange.

Shoot me an email at crcollette@gmail.com.

Also, I do still have my old bootleg page up here. I would say it's horribly outdated but seriously, I don't think I've really gotten anything new since around 2002. Maybe a Radiohead show or two, but otherwise, that's about it.

It's from a different tape and what I heard is that someone taped The Cardigans over the other side of the tape so that's all that was available. And it's an upgrade cause its better quality than the previous tape. It also has two new songs, Feelium and God. So you probably aren't missing anything.

Sup, Dead. Is the efnet channel still around?

I forgot how many various Mellon Collie demos there are, I should have elaborated more. The demos I was talking about are electric, and are most notable for having the unreleased song "Methusela." Someone got it in their head that the demos were being played at the wrong speed or something, and set about to "correct" it with a lower-gen source. Or something. It's been a long time, I forget the specifics. Hell, my biggest problem with those demos was with the dead air in one of the channels, not the speed.
