Marianne Faithful cant sing for shit...Why did Bolly write such a great song for her?

"Wherever I go" is such a great song...Marianne Faithfull just butchered a great song that Bolly wrote. Her voice cant even hit some of the notes. The cover of "Im in for someting good" sounds even more like shit - hear the way she hits "he was my kind of g-uuiiyy" .She sounds like Bobby Brady when he lost is voice in that one episode...My God. What lame ass at Virgin decides to support her and dump the pumpkins? My grandma has a better voice that this "singer". She sounds like a half drunk 50 year old at karaoke night.

Definitely sounds like a billy song. She could have done a lot worse on it. I don't have that much of a problem with her voice...only when she hits low notes. I can't stand her voice when she sings low.

She's been ruining songs for years. Her first hit was a butchering of 'As Tears Go By" by the Rolling Stones. In fact, in the late 60's and 70's she was mainly known for the "Mars Bar" story; when the police conducted a raid on Mick Jaggers house (I think it was Jagger's, in any event he was the one arrested) he was supposedly caught eating a candy bar out of one of Ms. Faithfuls major orifices (hint:not her mouth). As someone pointed out she hepled mangle a ****llica tune as well (I didn't like that song anyway so it didn't bother me).

Hmmmmm, I wonder if there's more to Billy's collaberation with her than we know... What's Billys favorite candy bar?

I know i'm not entitled to an opinion on netphoria, but i'll venture one anyway. i liked it. I personally think her voice is cool but the song is a rip off of sparrow.

Though I've never heard Ms. Faithful, I don't think it's our place to complain about a vocalist's technical skill when Billy has next to none, especially without the help of studio production. And just b/c he doesn't have 'technical skill' doesn't mean I don't <3 his voice.
