Whic ones? Have you listened extensively to Wu Tang Clan and their solo albums? Like Rza and Method Man? If that doesn't move you I'm surprised. I mean listen to a whole album from these artists. Tehy are all way better than Eminem. Eminem ain't worth a food stamp.

Maybe I should just stop. White rappers suck and Eminem's songs do not differ in their lyrical ideas. They all have the same underlying anger and lack of focus.

I don't think every rapper has to be street. I listen to a Tha Pharcyde and nothing they rap about involves gangsta culture. Quite the opposite, actually. Most of the rap I like could not be described as gangsta.

Eminem's music just reminds me of why I hate rap culture today. It's all about money and anger.

Yeah, he's that Detroit Pscyhopathic posse guy, right? I have a few friends that dig him.

They're all right but they'll never compare to Public Enemy. When I think Beastie Boys I think Public Enemy cause of their tours together.

I haven't listened extensively to those, and I know I would hate them a lot. And Eminem is a great rapper whether you like him or not. I'm not saying those guys are bad rappers, but I sure don't like them.

What do you mean out there? I want you to continue that, it sounds interesting but I don't get where out there is.

Yeah, some of it is angry. However it goes beyond "My mom's a bitch who never gave me what I wanted and was always all cracked out and my girlfriend's just as bad."

I don't see the entertainment or depth in anything Eminem does. Like that I am song. I remember what a big deal that was and I thought it was whiny, boring and self righteous.

How do you know you would hate them? That doesn't make sense. If you hate rap other than Eminem I don't know why I'm bothering anyway. You have no idea how often I get into bottomless arguements with people who refuse to see past Eminem.

Cause I hate their voices and style and subject matter. How can I like the rest of their stuff? Unless they do other stuff that's completely different from what I've heard.

And I gave examples of other stuff I like besides Eminem so quit exaggerating.

i guess i shouldn't really be talking about this. i'm a white dude from the 'burbs, i don't know hip hop
Rza assumes other identities too. This is not unique to Eminem.

His skits and story songs just seem so full of modern pop culture references that it would be almost impossible for them to be relevant to a lot of people. This brings me right back to Public Enemy. For me it's all about having a message for everyone.

You're right, you did. I apologize.

To answer your question, I have listen to evrything of Eminem's aside form the most recent album. I would never assert such a strong opinion if I did not know his material. Listening to his music is what made my dislike so strong.

Um, I really hope you don't think I'm coming off as a bitch. I just love to argue about this kind of shit. But I need to ask: How can you like a whiny white asshole's voice over a voice like Method Man's?

I hope you will listen to Birth of a Prince by Rza. The whole thing, start to finish. And then we can talk about that.

I can't think of songs exactly like that. Funny songs about pop culture speak more to me than Public Enemy

i don't see how there's any one group that could have a message for EVERYONE
Well then you know what Eminem does has already been done in many ways.

I don't really understand. World issues speak more to me than pop culture issues. But more power to you.

There's nothing wrong with it. I'm the minority here. Eminem sold like ten hundred thousand million albums or whatever. Where I live a lot of people like him, also. I think I'm the one who doesn't get it.

I give Dre props for pimping the white bitch and Eminem props for actually being a white guy that sold that many albums but like I said, I don't even speak Eminem's language.
