edit: well...the bad ones anyway. Any bad break-ups that you try to reconcile as friends doesn't work, i still talk to a few of my ex's bu they were also not very long relationships when i was like 16 and 17, so that's different.

The only way my friend Scott could get over his ex was by cutting her out of his life entirely after they split. It doesn't help that one of his best friends hit on her constantly and she always guilted Scott into thinking that Scott was the bad guy and overreacting. She kept on trying to make Scott a part of her life afterwards, but he was so attached to her that he knew it'd only make things worse, so he simply halted all contact. He wouldn't even go to her graduation, which was only two months after they split.

This is the first thing I thought of when I thought of psycho exes.
