in a forest next to a big tree, with fake fog.
the bride is dressed in an angel dress with the wings broken (off) and the groom's tuxedo is disheveled and he's smoking a cigar.
the bridesmaids are all fairies, with wings bent, and the flower girl also has a fairy dress on, but it's shredded at the bottom.
the ring boy has a suit, but it's wrinkled and untucked.
a guitarist plays the wedding march, which somehow seques into the Pumpkins' "Luna".
the pastor announces who's getting married after everyone walks down the aisle (dad and bride, etc.)
said guitarist then plays "let me give the world to you". after that, there's a slide show of the bride and groom's time together up to the wedding.
then the guitarist plays "all the lights went out" by marcy playground, a song about being doomed to love one another.
this is followed by the vows and reading of poems the bride has made for the groom and like wise.
they go down the aisle, pelted by rice or what have you, to the stagecoach as the guitarist plays the wedding march/"Luna".
the b+g ride off to the reception building as everyone follows suit.
the reception hall is decorated as a forest and there's a DJ playing pre-requested (ny myself and/or my bride)music; not loud, but in the **********.
eats is italian, red wine, and cake and there's the traditional dancing.

the point of the tattered clothes and all is perfection marred, because nothing is perfect. it's a failed artsy statement.

if i find a girl that would go through that kind of wedding (or something similar), i'd love her forever.

i'm not a believer in getting yourself so far in debt from the wedding that you spend the next 10 years paying for it tho. no matter how good a day it is. it will only be ONE day.

i wanna have a relatively quiet ceremony, definitely not in a church. i don't care if it will appease the family or not only close family/ friends will be invited from both sides and annoying relatives won't be getting an invite. i do, however, want a big party to celebrate. lots of food, lots of drink, lots of bad dancing. the DJ should be third-rate, the cheesier the better. i'll supply him with a list of 'approved songs' tho.

if i don't hear Uptown Girl, he will he fired on the spot with no fee.

i agree with almost everything there.... non church ceremony, somewhat short and informal. i have no clue what kind of a person to have officiate since i don't really want a pastor
....not a huge wedding, maybe 80 people or so...
tons of food, even more alcohol, and lots of dancing.
i want kind of natural flowers...purple is nice
either purple or light green dresses for the bridesmaids
i want my dress to be cream, i'm not a huge fan of white.
i want simple elegant satin *see the dresses above*
i want all the girly things, but i do want to be conservative on the price.... i saw my sister throw down money for things i would NEVER spend money on. seems a waste

oh yeah. and i have to go on a cruise for my honeymoon

they also have it in ivory, which is what i'd get. i'd love to wear the red or lilac but people would probably think i was a whore or something. heh. i'm too traditional.

Dream wedding senario #1
On the beach, warm evening with a slight breeze
somewhere between summer and spring
Me in a white dress flowing gently in the breeze
Him in an all black tux with silver buttons
bridesmaids wearing midnight blue
The sun is starting to set as we recite are vows that we have writen for each other
And as the the sun is in between the lake and the sky... we kiss for the first time as husband and wife.

Dream wedding senario #2
In meadow, in the fall with all the leaves turning bright colors of orange, yellow and red
Me in a long white dress
Him in an all black tux
Bridesmaids are wearing a rich dark champange color
we recite are own wedding vows and kiss for the first time as husband and wife.

eh ijust want an old-fashioned wedding i guess. it doesn't have to be big it can be whatever size, but i just want it to be in mid-morning probably outside rather than indoors, i want people to blow bubbles at me.... actually at my college a lot of people get married inside the wren chapel and i saw one once and peop;le were blowing bubbles and it was beautiful i wou ldn't midn that. i guess i'd like to get married some place really old or something.

i love that color but i think the red combined with the all poufiness is a little much.. i'm thinking something more jean harlow-ish, a heavy satin lipstick-red thing. dove-grey would be nice too.

something cut like:
http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/~garych...oythinman1.gif

figures i'd like a $3000 veil:
http://www.stitchesintime.com/images/showroom/1.gif

then i'd probably elope to vegas get quickly hitched by elvis and have an alcohol-ridden honeymoon in that venetian hotel since a) eloping means none of my crazy family will be in attendance b) i will have spent all my flow on the veil and won't be able to go to the real venice.
even still i guess that would be nothing compared to what some people spend - i know a girl who had a $40,000 wedding. UGH. her wedding/engagement ring is the size of a chipmunk. it's obscene i tell you.

Same here. The thought of them annoys me quite a bit really.
