Smiley, the Mormon thing is just schtick. I made some reference to the fact that it was just schtick but nobody save sppunk caught on to it.

As for pegging Samsa as a Jew, the thing that gave it away was when she said that, as a Jew it hurts her that Christians have distored the Jewish bible. It was a stretch to determine she was a Jew based on that, I know, but I managed to figure it out.

And all I said was that she reminded me of my JAP family members. That's not a bad thing. I love them. And like I said, I even subscribe to Heeb magazine. I love Jews.

I think you're wrong about keeping basketball anectdotes out of the courtroom. The best trial lawyers are those who can translate their client's story to the 12 laypeople on the jury. Sports references, when approrpriate, can be effective in that sense.

It all depends on your style of oral advocacy. I believe that mine will be highly narrative, so whatever's clever. Including basketball anecdotes.

Having so many posts under my belt, as you have noted earlier, I feel compelled to let you in on a little secret: how to get a message across to an audience. With a sidekick like sppunk, it's just not going to happen. While you can generally make a point, he derives childhood beatings and mental retardation from a happy little post which was written with someone other than him in mind.

Regardless, I like you more now than I did before we exchanged 'dumb bitches' and 'dirty Catholics.' I hardly agree with most of your opinions, but that doesn't really matter here. I'm sure you caught onto my 'schtick' earlier than I caught onto yours, and that makes you the winner and me the loser. Congratulations, and happy posting.

Oh, and about the basketball thing. As with Netphoria, it all very much depends on your audience. But, again, you are aware of that.

Also appreciate the advice in the previous post. I'm not quite sure what you meant in the part about sppunk deriving childhood beatings but that could have something to do with it being 3 am.
