My interpretation of that has always been that you should ignore and not even give a second thought to those who persecute you, because you'll get your reward in the end. You should follow that advice.

b) your'e sure if i didn't get so fucking upset? i don't get fucking upset. in fact i have about 10 people on my ignore list. i've been ignoring them for approximately a couple weeks. and i've been reacting non-upsettedly to them for approximately a couple weeks too. if anything it's gotten worse. why?

it's more of a challenge - now that i let people know i have them on ignore they're trying harder to catch my attention or be rude

i've been emotionally-unstable lately and have maybe been making crazy posts while in states of intense anxiety or mania or whatever.

I haven't noticed any change in the way you react to people. Kudos if you're trying, but I really haven't. You're still very snappy, even when people sometimes aren't really insulting you.

If you have them on ignore and you don't read their posts, there's no way they can "try harder to catch your attention" because if you don't read them, they're not there. YOu just have to resist the urge to click on the link to read them. You don't have to respond to people.
