Why the fuck do they always make Jesus white? I was watching this old Hanna-Barbara cartoon, about Jesus's death and resurrection, and it was actually quite good, except for the glaringly obvious fact that Jesus was the whitest-white boy in the whole damn cartoon. I mean, shit, they were detailed enough to make the diciples at least sort-of ethnic looking, but Jesus looked and sounded like a freak.

Two things I forgot to mention:

Hanna-Barbara made Jesus make the gay decorator sound manly.

Either Jesus is always portrayed as white, or those black religions make him black. I don't get either one of the concepts.

i once saw a talk show where a bunch of KKK members were talking about how their faith in god blah blah blah...makes them superior. then someone mentioned that christ wasn't white- and they were like "fuck him then". it was funny.

I love those episodes of Jerry Springer where the KKK is featured. They're so much like fourteen-year-old white hicks that it's amazing.
