Unless you're looking for anti-anxiety meds or something, I don't know. The only natural/herbal type thing I can think of is lavendar oil. There isn't really a middle ground there, I don't think.

but that fucks you up if you don't take it every day. i'm talking about for days like today. i'm just.. not okay.. and i'm not gunna go get a prescription. i've started jogging a bit, and using the punching bag to help, but i need something to help me relax too.. that i can take ony every onc ein a while...

anyone know much about kava kava, or valerain? i'm researching now....

Xanax kicks in in about five minutes. You take it only when you are stressed, or want a quallude like buzz.

I take it sometimes for stress. Maybe once or twice a month. This shrink I went to a few years ago hooked my ass up. I've still got something like 150 10mg pills in my stash. I only take a half when I need it. But seriously, on xanax, your mom could die, and you'd be like, "eh."

Lavendar oil just relaxes you. It really does work, though it's not very powerful. You can steam it, take baths with a few drops of it, mix it with some kind of base oil and get someone to give you a massage with it, or just inhale it from the bottle. I usually just open my window at night when it's warm enough and set the open bottle there so the breeze carries it into my room. It helps me sleep.

i think i was prescribed xanax a while ago actually.. i wonder if i still have those.. if i do.. yey! that means i don't have to buy anything and it might help...

otherwise, i'm gunna go out and buy some kava and lavendar oil. those sound like what i need.

Take 1/4, or 1/2. You can't jump into one pill right off the bat. I took one today with my morning coffee, and I'm pretty fucking laid back right now. Cigarettes intensify the effect.

i was prescribed .5mg pills, and i took one of those and like an hour or half an hour later i felt exactly the same, and since you said it kicked in quickly (as did my doc now that i think about it...) i took another.. bad idea
