Default Rival Schools

I miss this band. Their site got taken off Island Records' site. So I guess they're really over.

...A shame.

Anyone else appreciate?

They fucking sucked. I'm glad they realized it and stopped producing really shitty music.

THey had trite lyrics, bad drumming, uninspired guitar solos and their songs were about as original as Nickelback's.

I just saw Ian. He is opening/playing with Jonah's onelinedrawing. He is all over the new album, The Voluenters. IK thought his opening set was pretty good. It held my intrest.

If I hadn't listened to United by Fate more than a few times, I would be tempted to agree with you. But the album has its good share of moments. And I saw them live once and they were amazing. Which made me want to listen to the album a few more times. I also met Walter, the bass player/singer ex-Quicksand. He was cool. He chatted with me and a friend for a while.

As for onlinedrawing, Jonah's cool too. My band played with him a couple of years ago at UConn. I work for MOTU (www.motu.com) and he uses some of our products, so me and a friend had spoken to him before. The dude is so... flighty... you can't hold his attention for more than two minutes. He's prone to just walk off mid-conversation. Odd guy.
