Angry I have the worst migraine

It hurts, it hurts, it hurts. It started the day before yesterday and has not gone away. I have taken Fiorinal and Excedrin. I have used ice packs and heat. I have tried to sleep. I have tried drinking caffiene. At least it is not as painful as it was earlier today. And at least I will be able to get my Zomig prescription refilled in a couple of hours. And my migraines are getting really scary. Now, when they get to the level of pain that is was earlier today, I have episodes of paralysis and even faint. I took a warm bath earlier and then woke up completely submerged in the water...and I don't know what happened. I think I need to go to a neurologist again. This is just getting freaky.

Thumbs down

wow, that sounds really bad

i mean, 3 days that's really long...i don't know if that still is a migraine or of that migh not be something else, i would go and let that check...

when i have a migraine i usually just ly down and make the room as dark as possible. what's worst with mine is not the headache, but that i loose parts og my eyesight, meaning, that i just can't see the lower right part of my vision.....and sometimes i can't speak right, like it's getting impossible for me to speak the letter "l" wether alone or in words, i just miss it. and can't do anything about it.....that's kinda scary.

i hope you get better soon...

Zomig is the miracle drug for me...I'll be fine once I can get one or two of those in me. Problem is, they only come 6 to a box and cost $84...hence why I don't have any...when I have them I can stop these migraines before they get bad.

Right now, what's bad is the pain. Earlier, is was the symptoms that were the worst part...eyesight lose (always in my right eye since that is the spot where I always get my migraines), throwing up, paralysis, etc., etc. I guess I should just be glad that all I have left of this particular migraine is the pain above my right eye.

Question

have you come into contact with any sort of face-hugging alien life form so far?

I'm so glad I never suffer from migraines, I mean I've had some bad headaches but an actual migraine must be pretty awful

Man, I used to get those. They are AWFUL. I really do feel your pain. I got the ones that made you puke in high school. You might want to get to a doctor. Have you been eating anything out of the ordinary lately?

I used to take Imitrex and it worked pretty well for me, but I guess Zomig is the newer one on the market? Hmm
The first one's a link about migraines, the second's a link about other migraine medicines.

Get somewhere quiet and preferably dark, try breathing deeply.
