Well, that's how these things start - it's always gradual. Personally I don't see a problem with that games list, as he's just advising parents who know nothing about these things. If he'd released a list of games that 'everyone should avoid' then I'd be a little more concerned, because that means they have an agenda. Whatever. Those games are all really old anyway.

yes it's how some things start but some people would also say that it's maybe necessary or perfectly justifiable and doesn't necessarily have to 'go too far'. i don't really care either way. my life doesn't revolve around grand theft auto iii

Once, when I was in second grade and trying to get the mail after returning home from a trip with my mother (something scintillating, I'm sure, like grocery shopping), I tripped over my shoelace and fell to the ground in agony, scraping my knee. I began to cry, screaming "TAKE ME TO THE HOSPITAL!" repeatedly until I reached my front door. My mom teases me about it to this day.

And yeah, the Patriot Act, bleh. But let's at least be fair: the Dems voted for it, too.

Well it could just as easily be a list of books. That's why you need to be careful. But like I said, the way that list is presented seems pretty harmless.

Shut up! You keep replying to her posts, an OBVIOUS action employed to make you look like the good guy which is even more egotistical. You can't win. Go suck a tailpipe.

i totally can relate to your point, and as an American, i agree there. however, i do think, that whenever possible, we should vote for 3rd-party and indie candidates(and while all of you guys are at it, read my post on the subj: FUCK, Repubs got Senate back on the two 3rd-party candidates i voted for)
