I'm talking about when I used to read comics Claremont was a badass. I try to ignore what's going on with comics right now. But do you know what I'm talking about? The stuff he did in the first Wolverine books, his run on Uncanny and the start of the x-men book. Those were the comics that were out when I first started reading, and I still love them the most.

well yeah, his 70's X-Men run was brilliant, and it set the standard, but nowadays he isn't worth your time

Well I'm glad I'm missing the nowdays. The old man's just trying to make some money but his brain must be worn out. But you can't diss a guy who fucking created what the X-Men are today. He was pretty much involved if not completely controlling Uncanny from The mid 70's to early 90's. You can't beat that, a kid like me could pick up the books in 1990 and then pick up the back issues and be able to pick up on everything.
