Style guide says Internet is capitalized, for it is a proper noun. You should not capitalize e-mail.

I'm sure sppunk has the AP style guide. But I'd follow AP style for refering to technical terms in an APA format essay.

I usually capitalize Internet, but not email.

I guess I'll just capitalize Internet and leave e-mail as is.

that reminds me of 3rd grade. We had this lady that pushed around the trash can during lunch time and we'd always yell "hey" to her to so we could thrown some trash away and she'd always respond, "hay is for horses." Now that I think about it she seemed like a really really unhappy woman

I think her eye was fucked up too!
