Everyone tells me he's great, but to be honest, I've never heard anything by him. I don't download stuff, but I'm willing to go out and buy 2-3 records to see what's what. Recomendations please?

I'd start with My Aim Is True and This Year's Model.
If you like Elvis I would also highly reccomend checking out The Specials, Joe Jackson, Squeeze, and Nick Lowe. |

i'd say this year's model should take priority
if you love that album, get armed forces, which is more of the same if you're not big on it, get imperial bedroom |

I'd go with This Year's Model and My Aim Is True first, but keep them coming after you get hooked. |
