Arrow Tori: Scarlet's walk

I'm disappointed. Why am I not surprised? It's better than the covers album, but that's not hard to accomplish. Not only is it long as fuck (and for some reason, this is a bad thing) but all the songs are so similar that it all runs together. I've listened to it twice and the only songs that sort of stand out are Carbon, a sorta fairytale, can't see New York, and maybe your cloud. Other than that, it's just a big blah. It's just watered-down and overproduced that whatever solid elements were there originally got washed out. Bummer.

I also prefer Roddy Bottom on the keys. PSYCH! IMPERIAL TEEN STYLE!

There was recent interview with her that was hilarious, though. I'll try to find some quotes from it.

I haven't got it yet.. i've heard so many bad things i'm scared to. But if it's better than SLG it'll probably be fine, because i actually liked that album.

Personally, I love the new album, and I recommend it to everyone I like the track Gold Dust the best right now...but actually all of the songs are quite good. *is looking forward to seeing tori on the 22nd!*
