Talking Things You've Yelled Out at Concerts...

... besides 'yeah!' or 'whoooo...'

The only memorable thing I remember yelling out was at the last Lollapalloza '03 show in Oregon. After APC played their set, Jeordie and Josh Freese came out with a bucket of ice cubes and started tossing them into the audience, at which point I yelled "we love ice!" 'Just kinda' came over me

Thumbs up

"PLAY 'STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN'!!"

I've done that a few times at a whole bunch of different shows. Never a Led Zepplin show. Therin lies the humor.

Reminds me of that story about some Ryan Adams show.
This fan yelled out, "Play Summer of 69" (A Bryan Adams song), and Ryan Adams snapped, and kicked that guy out of his show and gave him like $20 or whatever the cost of the show was.

the singer of this band was playing and there was a part where he didn't have to sing so he came out to the front of the stage and started doing this dance that made him look like he was having a seizure. after the song i yelled "you call that dancing?"

i'm a comedian.

hahhaahahah, what a dick. that's awesome.

I yelled out "STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN" at a Big Wreck show once and the lead singer was having a smoke on stage in the middle chatting with the audience. And he smiles and says "You like that one? We're playing it next" and then he pretends freaks out and points at me and yells "HEY THIS GUY DOESN'T LIKE BIG WRECK LETS THROW HIM THE FUCK OUT!!!!!!!". I just ducked down and pretended to hide.

I've seen Green Day twice and they do this thing at thier show where Billy Joe walks around and asks the audience what songs they want to hear. (fucking AWESOME thing to do, BTW) And I yelled out Stairway but he just made a funny face and couldn't hear me. I should have brought diagrams.

this isn't me, but we were at a local type of show and my friend was wearing a budweiser:king of beers t-shirt. anyhow he kept heckling the lead singer he kept say you fucking suck and stuff like that i can't remember exactly, but finally the singer looked down at him and said "King of Beers? More like the King of Queers" and everyone laughed.

i thought it was funny and it really has nothing to do with this thread other than it reminded me of it.

if you got picked to come onstage and play "knowledge" with them, you could of just thrown everyone off by starting to play stairway.
