this is fucking stupid. there really is no excuse for this. everyone who didnt send a a gift or wont send a gift should simply be banned from doing this ever again. there should be no discrepancy about this solution. even if you are broke, dont know what to get the person, or are lazy, sending your share is the obligation you subscribed to when you signed up in the first place. if you knew you would end up not doing it or couldnt afford it, then you shouldnt have participated. in the end, the real reason isnt anything innocent or nice. there arent much excuses to try. its selfish, and what really kinda shocks me is how blase everyone is to their own admitted wrong-doing. like they fucked someone over and "oh well". yuck
