On occasion in GBS and D&D I see threads pop up that go something like:

"HAY GUYS, what's this I hear about xxx?"

Where xxx is some science or math thing.

I also see threads like "I'm taking this xxx class and I'm having problems with this type of problem, can someone explain it to me?"

Where, once again, xxx is some science or math thing.

Then there's the thread that goes something like "HAH! I challenge you to prove xxx!"

Where xxx is - you guessed it, some science of math thing.

Well, I think it would be kind of neat if we had a forum where science and math geeks can hang around and geek on science and math things. It should be a place where people can yak about the latest interesting bowel-moving results in science and a place where the uninitiated can come and get at least semi-reasonably-informed internet-style info about questions that bug them or strike their curiousity.

What it shouldn't be is a place for retards to get their homework done for them.

Anyway, that's my proposal. Any interest?

Damn people, calm down. I do have a job and I never get on netphoria when the boss is around, but I do when they all go home. While I don't really care if there are warnings or not, I don't think people should demand them. Don't bitch because you can't "work" the whole time you are there and must get on netphoria for a break. Fact is, they pay you to sit there and work. If you can't do that, then you deserve whatever it is you get for slacking off. Sorry. It's just one opinion guys, chill.
