It just started here, and no, I will not be watching it. I have not seen one entire episode of American Idol...although I do wish to see the funny ones where all the crap singers are shown.

Yeah...I imagine that song would be difficult to pull off well. The nirvana guy had a good rock voice...but he shouldn't have sung a nirvana song...bad call. He did sound like an impersonator. He could've done better with a different song that hilighted him.

simon c said it best, blah idol is just a glorified international karaoke contest, i think it's fucking lame. although i do admit that some of the world idol competitors are really good singers, my money's on guy to win. (not literally though)
the british idols are pathetic though. i think they must overdo this thing in england more than any other country...will young is an ok blues singer but he's so fucking cheesy and emo and gay. the other guy gareth is a tard. and the songs they release as their own (winding road etc)

are just the blandest, most inane pop dogshit imaginable.

simon is as guilty as any of the other honchos, but i give him credit for talking the least shit. pete waterman needs to have his balls kicked in. and ant and dec can go fuck a cactus.

American/Australian/Canada/Whatever Idol is one of the most embarrassingly shitty projects on television, along with everything that it encompasses, from the production to the not-so-subtle marketing is fucking horrible.
