elastica s/t appreciation thread

Let's get some things out of the way.
1) Yes I know they ripped off Wire. They paid the price. It actually wasn't Connection that led up to me buying the cd but their second single Stutter, which I saw play on MTV 2 a few times.

2) There are some horrible lyrics in this album such as: "Let's go siesta in your Ford Fiesta" (I wonder if Justine & Damon engaged in vehicular intercourse..since they are both very attractive people that would have been a sight to have seen..

) and "It's hard to make a stew when the meat keeps looking up at you".

Besides those two negative points it's a very well crafted album.
It sounded fresh to my young ears back in 95 or 94 or whenever I heard it and I can still appreciate it now.

I had a huge crush on Justine because of her sneer.
