I found it a few months before Wes & Tony's SP site closed down. Hated it at first, lurked for a while, can't get away anymore....

I used to hate and fear the internet, and my love for the Smashing Pumpkins drove me to blamo.org. They were all together too lovey-dovey for me, and there were often threads at the time about how cruel and mean the folks over at netphoria.org were. That appealed to me. And now here I am.

i posted at noyen's board and wanted to know what the hell he and sbt and bob dole were going on about when they made fun of netphoria. i registered because i was working a boring office job then and it seemed like a good way to kill time. :\

i found netphoria by doing pumpkins yahoo searches i think. it was probably six months before i actually found the messageboard, then probably a couple months before i started posted. then ten days later was the dreaded 05/23/00. yikes.

i found it though a search engine for SP sites too.. It was also occassionally mentioned within the SPC chatroom.
I registered in order to force my opinions (and other things) down peoples' throats.

I registered because my girlfriend has posted here for 3-5 years. I always saw her reading it and I asked her if there were any cool people. She told me there were a few cool people and a few idiots. I always like to see discussions between smart people and stupid people. Also I started to work at a job where I have lots of down time and an internet connection. I'll admit, I started out here "trolling" but I've come to like a good amount of people here. The people I don't like are even more entertaining.
