im seeing them this friday at the Kool Haus, im going cuz my friend insisted that i attend the event


the thing is, i dunno much of their stuff, except their popular songs i guess.... and i gave their new album a listen ... but my memory sucks, and i don;t think i liked it too much, or maybe it was something else.... who knows

is there anything i should download to get an idea of what i should expect at the show??? :erm they don't seem like my kinda band....

theres a guy on the cover of that album who looks like stuart copeland. i wanted to buy it, but then i realized thats a pretty fucking stupid reason to buy an album.

They will play all their hits, which you will recognize from Canadian radio.
I have seen them twice, and they do put on a good show. At edgefest last year they covered ACDC's jailbreak with the guys from FUBAR and gob.

Saw them a few weeks ago...the show wasn't great coz both singers blew their voices apparently a show or two before! But yeah...they're pretty rockin' live.

they're like 40 and have grey hair now. it's sad and scary.
as much as they lost it, their new single and video is pretty cool.

well at least the Kool Haus serves alcohol. Spend your money on a lot of booze & let the time fly by. Sloan leaves me underwhelmed if that's a word. They are now like a bad early Beatles cover band.

on a sidenote one of the buddies I jam with insists that back in the day the Sloan drummer ripped off his drum setup/look/style after they played at the same gigs a few times...whether it's true or not i don't really give a fook, it's just funny to hear him bitch about it all these years later.
