I have New Mother and I'm not really impressed by it. I like the more baroque-pop tracks, but a lot of the CD is really boring. If How I Loved You is anything like that, then forget it.
On a related note, anyone want to tell me what Swans album I should buy first? |

I haven't listened to New Mother, but How I Loved You reminds me a lot of Lou Reed (Berlin-era) at some times and of Black Heart Procession at others. There's also a bit of Tom Waits here and there.
