Rhino takes the socialistic/authoritarian approach and says "let's make a superthread." That turned into 3 pages of chat because there was no vested interest and propaganda/commands are simply not a method that most people with a brain respond to.

This outragious analogy was brought to you by jczeromen for a free society.

I don't get why people would do drugs without fully understanding what they do to your body.

I've got some light reading for you.

Pick up "A Primer of Drug Action" by Robert M. Julien.

It is a "concise, nontechnical guide to the actions, uses, and side effects of psychoactive drugs"

It will cost you about a hundred bucks, but it is worth it to find out what the fuck you are doing to your bodies.

kthxbi

honestly, erowid is the best free resource for information regarding any drug usage. The negatives to everything exist, but the neutrals and positives exist just as well, and anyone who says they don't, is really fooling themselves.

Take, for example, lsd, in moderate doses, with the right person(it's a mental journey) has caused many breakthrough's to help conquer Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

I personally, condone usage amongst the people who are wise enough to moderate it, there are druggies, there are intellectuals, and the line is very fine, but does exist.

Drugs are bad, but so is everything else out there: smog, smoke, chemicals, household cleaner fumes, etc.
I get the feeling our generation is going to have a lot of cancer.
