Default What were your favorite childhood toys?

MY LITTLE PONY~~~~!!! I still obsess strangely over them even though I'm not a collector or anything. I feel all giddy and nostalgic when I see them on Ebay. Oh yeah. AND: NES games. I'd always die in Super Mario when I first tried playing (I was 6 or 7) b/c I'd hit UP to jump. Then I find out years later that all the fighting games have UP to jump, and I felt gratified.

I STILL have my Snoopy Ice Maker-thing! I love it! Labrynth and Legend are STILL two of my favorite movies.

I decapitated my only Barbie. I DID however have a Barbie pool, which I filled up with water, allowed algae to acumulate, and called a "tar pit" which I placed all my dinosaur toys around. They were my faves too.

i want another snoopy sno cone machine.

and the labyrinth that i was referring to is the game. it's a wooden box that's a maze and has two steel balls that you have to get through the maze without letting them fall into the holes. you've prolly seen it. i wanted it so bad for my 10th birthday and when i didn't get it i threw a tantrum and my mother promptly went out to get it that evening. though i was only obsessed with getting it because of the movie. oh and <3 legend <3.

I actually had an extensive rock collection. My mom would buy these decorative rocks from the store and put them outside under the bushes, and then I'd find them and bring them inside, and she'd be like, "Oh my god! That's such a pretty rock! Where did you find that?"

G.I. Joe's, Transformers, He-Man, my Atari 2600.

Deep down, we all know that the 80s were the pinnacle of toymaking.
