Why does everyone that takes first year Psychology think they are genuises?

Has anyone noticed this? First year students that take psychology always pretend that they can psychoanalyse you and are like "well, your cortex isn't working" and dumb shit like that>?

I don't try and do that! I do tutor about 15 people in the class though, because for some reason they all think that I know what i'm doing.

the same reason why people going through grad school for counselling think they can tell you what's wrong with you, what you should do about it, and how everyone should love and respect eachother like oprah says while simultaneously yelling at their kids and calling them assholes!
