Default Listening to MSOTS/Seattle, and it owns you.

I ranted about how fucking cool this was at the show, and how I hadn't heard any MSOTS mp3's from any other shows that had the crazy ass lone-solos that Billy did at the end, and man... it's way better than I remember. It sounds like shit Pink Floyd did. It fucking owns. If anyone wants to host it... man. This has -got- to get out. I got it thanks to The Joker.

western avenue is going start hosting a bunch of live shows next week, so I'm sure you'll find it there.

If it's not up on a site within the next week, I'll host it from my domain. At the very least, I'll host the MSOTS.

Okay... I just put the Mary Star of the Sea on my domain. Right-click, Save-As:

http://www.reyngel.com/maryseattle.mp3

At about 8:52, Billy curls up into a fetal position on the stage, and just closes his eyes, and trips out with his guitar... it's pretty fuckin tight. Reminds me of Gish/SD era shows.

Enjoy.

The microphone gets adjusted slightly at the beginning, but then at about 2 minutes, it's fixed and stable and tight.

Ha, no way. Go check out some early pink floyd live stuff. It's quite a nice version of the song, but comparing MTOTS to Pink Floyd is like comparing a Mazda to a Ferrari.

Hehe, true. But what I meant was really just at the very end of the song... the solo sounds just like the same notes from the solo of Comfortably Numb... at um... 14:26.

One of the fastest cars ever, they invented new rules to prohibit mazda participating with those engines after wining le mans only with one car, in one year. Ferrari didn't EVER made a car fast as this (even in a straight, even counting with the 800+ hp early 80's 512's).

something i've hated about all the shows on this tour is that the drums completely drown out the guitars, and even most of the vocals, which should not be the case when a band has three guitarists.
